 :: Facts about Cozumel Island.
Cozumel is Mexico's largest island, located 10 miles off the Yucatan Peninsula. It is 28 miles long and 9 miles wide. Cozumel follows Central Standard Time.
Main city is San Miquel.
Cozumel has an international airport, fully equipped for both large jets and private planes. International arrivals are expected to fill out a Customs Declaration & a Mexican Tourism Card before the plane lands.
Taxi's are widely available and not expensive. Always ask how much the fare will be before getting into the taxi. All taxi drivers must carry with them a rate sheet listing the approved fares.
Daily Snorkel excursions to the famous Cozumel Marine Park
:: Cozumel Marine Park Snorkel Adventure (Full day, daily)
 Pro dive Mexico is proud to have it's own boats, permits, staff and licenses for the famous Cozumel Marine park just south of the island. We have several dive shops on the island.
No more licenses are given out by the Mexican authorities to protect the eco system of this Marine park.
All our boats leave from our Small Luxury dive resort Playa Azul, Occidental Allegro and will have a quick stop at the Playa del Carmen - Cozumel ferry dock for guests coming from the Riviera Maya (mainland)
A 45 minutes boat ride takes us to the south end of the
island where we snorkel some of the most famous reefs like: Palancar Gardens and Colombia. (divers and snorkelers can be on the same boat, but separate reefs)
We wills serve you drinks, sandwiches and some fruit in between your snorkeling activities and if time allows we will do this at a tropical isolated white beach, and continue for a second snorkel trip. (Sometimes due to the ferry table times we can not go onto the beach)
We will be back at the ferry around 16:45 hours and back at Playa Azul around 17:30. Guests can take the ferry back to Playa del Carmen with our multilingual guide.

Also Scuba Diving family members can join on the same boat.
:: Passion Island (3 hours, Minimum 8 persons)
 You’re going to love this. If you’re looking for something really fun to do while you’re visiting Cozumel, you have to go on the Passion Island Adventure Tour.
What a great time! How does a secluded private tropical island with beautiful white sandy beaches sound? You will have no cars or motor scooters flying around. No vehicles allowed on passions island ..........Despite many agencies selling this as a snorkel trip, we at Pro Dive Mexico must say this is more a island visit to see stretched white beaches.
Many cruise ship passengers from Carnival and other cruise ships ariving on Cozumel Island love this 3 hours excursion. They will be back onboard of their cruiseship in time.
